Overexpression of a href="http://sageke.sciencemag.org/cgi/genedata/sagekeGdbGene;136">sir-2.1 in the daf-1(m40) background results in an increase in the severity of the dauer-constitutive phenotype (Tissenbaum and Guarente, 2001).
